Bar & Restaurant
At the edge of the Pemba Channel offering unspoiled views of the reef and some of the best sunsets of the island our bar and restaurant is ready to take care of you after your day’s adventures. Meals are prepared for guests on demand using local products available that day. Fish is usually caught the same morning by local fishermen and fruits and vegetables come from the surrounding villages. If you are not staying at the lodge, but would like to come for lunch or dinner, please let us know ahead of time so that we can prepare.
Ocean to table dining
Lunch and dinner is usually prepared from fish or seafood caught by local fishermen the same morning. There is no a la carte menu, instead we offer daily meals depending on what local fishermen has caught that day and what fruit and vegetables are available. This all depends on the season. We hare happy to welcome guests who are not staying with us for lunch or dinner or to stop by for drinks. If you wish to eat we would request that you contact us before so that we have time to prepare something.
Sunset Bar & Deck
The seaside bar and deck is a favourite place to gather after a day’s adventure. Enjoy locally crafted cocktails from the deck while watching the sun set over the Pemba Channel.
